Job Description: Junior Production Engineer (Interior Fit-Out)


Key Responsibilities:


1. Production & Manufacturing Support:


Assist in the production planning and execution of interior fit-out elements such as furniture, joinery, metalwork, and other custom fabrications.


Work closely with the production team to ensure materials and designs meet project requirements.


Monitor manufacturing processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and quality.


2. Quality Control & Compliance:


Ensure all production work adheres to company quality standards and project specifications.


Conduct inspections and identify any defects or deviations in materials and workmanship.


Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.


3. Project Coordination & Site Support:


Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and designers to align production with project timelines.


Assist in site visits to ensure smooth installation and resolve any on-site technical challenges.


Support the team in preparing reports and documentation related to production progress.



4. Material & Resource Management:


Assist in managing materials, tools, and equipment needed for production.


Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.


Maintain production logs and track work progress.



5. Health & Safety Compliance:


Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the production facility.


Promote a safe working environment and report any hazards or incidents.


Qualifications & Skills:


Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Interior Engineering or related field.


0–2 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or interior fit-out projects.


Basic knowledge of production processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.


Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design and drafting software is an advantage.


Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Good communication and teamwork skills.


Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
